The summer presentation
in the World of Gardening Lecture Series will be held on
Wednesday, July 18, 10AM until around noon at the
the
Randle T.
Moore Center
in Shreveport. The program is open to the public and free
of charge, but pre-registration is requested. Email

or phone 869-1526. This presentation is sponsored by the
Northwest Louisiana Master Gardener Association as a part of
their commitment to educating the public in good gardening
practices and the joys of gardening. The speaker,
Aubrey King, comes to us from King's Nursery based
in Teneha, Texas. His subject will be "Great Plants
for Shreveport Gardens". To conclude his
presentation, Aubrey will auction off plants that he will
bring with him. He will have many interesting plants
not often seen in Shreveport, but which are vigorous growers
for our hot, dry summers and will add a dollop of surprise
in the garden.
