The Northwest LA Master Gardeners have set the date for their annual Fall Heirloom Bulb Sale!  The sale will be Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 9am until 1pm at the Randle T. Moore Center in Shreveport.

This year's sale will feature heirloom bulbs that thrive in the South such as spider lilies (several colors.....you really should purchase several of the yellow ones....they are truly lovely), Byzantine (hardy) glads, heirloom daffodils and more.  Most of the bulbs offered for sale are not normally found in local garden centers. Our intention is to sell bulbs that grow well in this area and will naturalize.
