For those of you that don't know, around
40,000 students come through the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum
each year for educational programs. The Museum is an asset for Shreveport
and is becoming a wonderful Community Center. Your involvement with
the gardens surrounding the Museum is an excellent way to showcase
our talent and do our part in contributing to the community.
Regular workdays are the 1st and 3rd
Wednesday of each month with work starting at 8:30am.
The
making of a Caddoan designed hyper-tuffa pot was a LSEM board project,
organized by Jane Hall, who designed and is in charge of the Indian
Garden. Master Gardeners spent one of the regularly scheduled workdays
at the Museum with Jane Hall working on this pot.(CLICK
