The Liberty Garden is
located near the convention center in Bossier City, Louisiana.
It was constructed to honor local firemen and policemen who lost
their lives in the line of duty as well as others who lost their
lives in the bombing of the towers on 9/11 in New York
City. Volunteers from Keep Bossier Beautiful and other groups
spent many hours cleaning out weeds and dead plant material from
the previous season. When the heat of summer passes, Master
Gardeners will provide the care needed to keep the garden
beautiful.
